Pair of new Thunder Hi 161 Hollow Lights skateboard trucks.
Great turning trucks from Thunder- approx. the same width as Indy 169s (Thunder have their own measuring system that makes no sense at all!)
If you want Indy 169s but just find them too heavy then these are the trucks for you!
Perfect for old skool shaped decks and 1980s re-issues.
Beware : Like Indy Hollow Forged trucks they only have 4 holes in their baseplates so won't fit re-issues that have the old hole truck pattern. (not many re-issues have the old holes).
Thunder Sizes:
147s - 8.0" Wide. For boards from 7.5" to 8.125" wide.
148s - 8.25" Wide. For boards from 8.125" to 8.375" wide.
149s - 8.5" Wide. For boards from 8.375" to 8.625" wide.
151s - 8.75" Wide. For boards from 8.5" to 8.875" wide.
161s - 9.125" Wide. For boards from 8.875" wide and bigger.
* Note: all measurements are approximate- may be couple of mm's either way!
These are the lightest Thunders made (except for the mega expensive titanium axle ones) thanks to the forged bases, hollow kingpins and hollow axles. Still great turning, strong, responsive trucks but lighter weight. They are also fractionally lower than the standard Thunders as the forged bases are thinner but stronger than cast baseplates.
